BrightSpark™ is a social innovation initiative of Bridge Innovate® designed to ignite creative confidence in students and educators by utilizing design thinking, education workshops, coaching, and providing free online resources to help solve design challenges.Students build critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills, as well as essential "designer" skills, which include empathy, brainstorming, creating, experimenting, failing, and trying again. 2021 Bright Spark Fall Invention Challenge

<h2>INVENTION CHALLENGE (October 1 - 29, 2021)</h2>Participation is free • Program is virtual from start to finishCalling all inventors! We are excited to announce the 2021 Bright Spark Virtual Invention Challenge. To get started, work individually or form a team to identify a challenge you want to solve and follow the steps below.

<h2>HOW TO PARTICIPATE</h2><ul><li>Register to participate. Team up or participate as an individual. The deadline to register is September 24, 2021.</li><li>Create a new service or product that solves an existing problem.</li><li>To showcase the invention prototype, generate a 90-second pitch video introducing what you’ve designed.</li><li>Submit your video! Videos will be used for public voting to determine the finalists. Students also grow in empathy.
