SmittenKiss Events and The Reaching Out Center are teaming up to give back to our community!

As 2020 nears an end, many of us approach 2021 with mixed emotions. Across the country people have suffered loss in income, shelter and their ability to provide a healthy meal for their family. During these times it's important that we come together as a community and continue to give where we can. SmittenKiss LLC will be co-hosting a "GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY" event with The Outreach Center. Together, they will be providing a free box of food worth $300++ and essentials to those in need. During the holidays, there is usually an influx of year end support from volunteers and donations but soon after the holidays the support drops over 40%. With this winter's COVID surge and second LOCK DOWN in place, more families are suffering through a cold and hungry start to 2021. The Reaching Out Center has consistently helped over 1200 families per event and we are hoping with the power of social media and our amazing community that we can spread the word even faster. Please share this event for those who would find this helpful. We understand this isn't easy for anyone and so we make this very simple. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Just register, come on the day of and safely receive without leaving your vehicle. Our staff and team maintains social distancing protocols. For those who would like to help please do SIGN UP for volunteering, we would LOVE to see your faces ( covered with a mask of course!) the more the muscle, the better and faster we can build and distribute. HOW TO RECEIVE FOOD/ ESSENTIALS? <ol><li>Register via the event portal and fill in the necessary details such as contact information including email and # of family members. You will then receive your voucher online. </li><li>Set your calendar to receive food on 01/21/2021 at 9am. The distribution is happening between 9-12pm </li><li>Please bring your VOUCHERS! You will need it in order to receive a package. </li><li>As you arrive to 2315 Canoas Garden Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125 (Cathedral of Faith Campus), there will only be one gate open and our traffic controller will guide you.</li><li>The distribution is 100% drive-through and safe. </li></ol>

I WANT TO HELP! HOW DO I VOLUNTEER OR DONATE? VOLUNTEER: Come join SmittenKiss LLC while we share the love for our community. We need as many volunteers as possible to make this event successful. Please register and click on the option VOLUNTEER SK and we will send over the information for JANUARY 21, 2021. If you cannot join us on JANUARY 21st 2020, no worries!! The Reaching Out Center helps over 46,000 individuals each month and always needs help distributing. If you can help another time, please let them know, they distribute every Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 12 noon.
