<p><strong>BRITEhack is a completely free virtual civic hackathon to solve energy-related challenges for our partner in the Warren, Ohio community, Trumbull Family Fitness.</strong></p><p>BRITEhack is a virtual hackathon for problem-solvers of all kinds: founders, engineers, scientists, DIYers and students. It is an all-day event where participants work together in curated teams to address an energy challenge faced by a partner in our community (this year we are working with Trumbull Family Fitness aka TFF – a former YMCA). TFF’s building is old and dilapidated, and inefficient equipment drives up their energy costs. What innovative approach will you take to improve efficiency across TFF's fitness center? How will you save money and the planet under unique constraints? There is <strong>$2,021 in prize money</strong> up for grabs for teams with the best ideas!</p><p>Our mission is to bring people together to create a positive change in our community.
