<p><strong>BRITEhack is a completely free virtual civic hackathon to solve energy-related challenges for our partner in the Warren, Ohio community, Trumbull Family Fitness.</strong></p><p>BRITEhack is a virtual hackathon for problem-solvers of all kinds: founders, engineers, scientists, DIYers and students. It is an all-day event where participants work together in curated teams to address an energy challenge faced by a partner in our community (this year we are working with Trumbull Family Fitness aka TFF – a former YMCA). TFF’s building is old and dilapidated, and inefficient equipment drives up their energy costs. What innovative approach will you take to improve efficiency across TFF&#x27;s fitness center? How will you save money and the planet under unique constraints? There is <strong>$2,021 in prize money</strong> up for grabs for teams with the best ideas!</p><p>Our mission is to bring people together to create a positive change in our community.
