The <a href="https://www.marthoma.sg/" title="https://www.marthoma.sg/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mar Thoma Syrian Church (MTSC) in Singapore</a> invites you to an evening of sacred songs in Malayalam and English on Saturday, 10 May at 6.30 pm, led by well-known Christian singer-couple Immanuel Henry and Sruthy Immanuel, along with Stephen Mathison, singer and keyboard player. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus Suffragan Metropolitan. They serve as opportunities to learn new songs, inspire participants with messages and personal experiences of various people from the world of Christian music, and even bring various choirs together.Things to note:<ul><li>Check-in for the event begins at 6.00 pm in the church premises.</li><li>All attendees are expected to be seated in the sanctuary by 6.25 pm.</li><li>Entry to the sanctuary will be restricted to registered participants.</li><li>Kindly click on "Reserve your spot" or "Get my tickets" and provide your email to register your attendance.</li><li>Participants below 5 years of age need not register separately. To minimize disruptions and preserve the serene atmosphere, we encourage participants with infants/children to consider suitable arrangements to ensure the little ones are comfortable during the event.</li></ul>

<h3>Artists</h3>This year, we proudly bring you well-known Christian singer-couple Immanuel Henry and Sruthy Immanuel, along with Stephen Mathison, singer and keyboard player.<h4>Immanuel Henry</h4>A versatile talent hailing from the vibrant state of Kerala, India, Immanuel is a Christian singer, adept mixer, and accomplished record producer. His musical journey began at the tender age of 5, marked by intensive training in Indian Karnatic music—a foundation that would later shape his exceptional career. In 2011, Immanuel Henry soared into the limelight as the 2nd runner-up in Idea Star Singer, Season 5, a prestigious music reality show hosted by Asianet. However, his unwavering commitment to Christian values led him down a unique path, focusing exclusively on Christian music as a singer and record producer. While firmly rooted in his faith, Immanuel embarked on a multifaceted career in the music industry. Starting in 2014, he ventured into the world of mixing, adding another layer of expertise to his musical repertoire. Immanuel's life took a transformative turn when he entered into matrimony with Christian singer Sruthy Joy. Together as a family, they have elevated their music ministry to a whole new level, collectively serving the Lord's kingdom through their musical talents. For Immanuel Henry, the pursuit of excellence in both musical and spiritual aspects of Christian music is a lifelong passion. Over the years, Sruthy Immanuel has made significant contributions to the Christian music scene. She has lent her powerful voice to numerous records, including her own productions, and has graced live Christian music events with her soulful performances. In her personal life, Sruthy found love and companionship in Immanuel Henry, and together as a family, they are dedicated to serving the Lord with their God-given talents, spreading the message of faith and hope through their music. Sruthy Immanuel's unwavering commitment to her faith and her musical prowess make her a remarkable figure in the world of Christian music. Her songs continue to inspire and uplift the hearts of many, drawing them closer to their spiritual journey.Stephen Cherian MathisonA multi-instrumentalist, educator and music producer, Stephen runs a music school Major7 Academy Of Music in Kochin along with a recording studio Hadar studios. With a passion for helping others find their voice through music, Stephen blends technical skill with a deep love for sound, guiding students of all ages while continuing to produce and perform across genres.

<h3>About the late Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus Suffragan Metroplitan (Zacharias thirumeni)</h3>The late Zacharias thirumeni was endearingly referred to as "Bishop of the Skies" and "Master of Dreams" because of his zealous passion for ecumenism.In addition to his extensive involvement with the World Council of Churches (WCC) and his leadership in the establishment of several institutions, Zacharias thirumeni is fondly remembered as a man of poetry and creative musical expression of his spirituality. Several songs that he composed and wrote have become popular through the Maramon Convention and other diocesan events. The diaries in which he wrote his songs also gave the context in which those songs were written and how he was inspired by the divine Holy Spirit.Thirumeni once said, "Miracles are bound to happen when we biblically respond to complex human problems. Behind every project I initiated, there was an acute human problem. Whenever we confront these problems in tune with God's purpose they are transformed into fruitful repositories of effective testimony."

<h3>About Us</h3>The Mar Thoma Syrian Church, also known as the Mar Thoma Church is a Christian denomination based in Kerala, the south-western state of India, tracing its origins to the missionary activity of Thomas the Apostle and defines itself as Apostolic in origin, Universal in nature, Biblical In faith, Evangelical in principle, Ecumenical in outlook, Oriental/Eastern in worship, Democratic in function and Episcopal in character.The Choir of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church in Singapore has been serving the music ministry since 1952 when it was first established. The Choir in its present form was organized in 1994 and has since then grown into a 50-member strong organization. The Choir provides leadership through its music ministry for the Sunday Worship Service, as well as during the Christmas Season and the Passion Week; presenting specially prepared songs to add meaning for church occasions from time to time.
