About this event

The Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (SIDLIT) conference is a gathering of instructional technologists, educational technology specialists, instructional designers, online faculty, technology leaders, assessment coordinators, librarians, and more who are involved with distance learning, instructional technology, or online programs. The event is sponsored by Colleague 2 Colleague (C2C).

Strategic Design for Effective Learning is the conference theme and will feature keynote presentations by:

Robin DeRosa – Director of the Open Learning & Teaching Collaborative at Plymouth State University.

Erin Crisp – Associate Vice President of Innovation at IWU National & Global.

The conference is hosted virtually by Emporia State University and Indiana Wesleyan University. It includes presentations, topic-oriented special interest discussion groups, workshops, and demonstrations.

This year’s conference is offered at no cost to attendees, but registration is required.

After registration, you should have received an email with directions to access our conference platform, called Sched, where you can build your own personal conference schedule from which you will join the sessions for the conference.

Login to Sched is required to view the conference session details. See the Technical Support page on the C2C website for self-serve documentation or to contact technical support.

Questions about SIDLIT 2020 may be sent to C2C Chair David J. Swisher at david.swisher@indwes.edu or Vice Chair April Robbs at april.robbs@ottawa.edu.
