The organization assists in connecting businesses faced with challenges in their respective industries with founders who can and are willing to start tech start-ups that can solve their industry challenges and also connect businesses with tech startups who are already solving their industry challenges.Silicon Durbs is also shaping a tech ecosystem in Durban that connects all key stakeholders that play a role in the life circle of a tech startup which helps in growing the city to be more friendly and conducive for the start and growth of tech startups in the city of Durban.

We are actively looking and inviting individuals and groups who are passionate and interested in developing and leading new technology-driven businesses that will disrupt the Health industry for the first time to be part of our annual three day Health tech startup Ideation Boot-camp. The boot-camp is hosted in partnership with Businesses and organizations in the Retail industry.Within three days we'll expose our participants and potential founders to challenges and pain points from Health industry that could be solved by technology innovation, help them identify challenges they can solve this will help in assisting participants to generate new ideas of their own, help them develop commercially viable business models lastly each founder will be assisted to develop a tailor-made technology implementation plan which plays a key role for non-technical founders to lead their business development. We have Industry experts, expert entrepreneurs, and Investors who'll be assisting and mentoring participants during the Boot-camp.
