2020 Grant application process San Antonio Area Foundation competitive grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, schools, churches or governmental bodies that serve Bexar and the following surrounding counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina and Wilson. For this process, your organization must have a minimum of one year as an IRS designated 501(c)(3) by the open date of our application (February 27, 2020) and Must have a minimum organization expense budget of $40,000 in your fiscal year 2019. Community Information Sessions describing our Cycle 1 Cultural Vibrancy and Youth Success impact areas and application process will be held on February 27, February 28 , March 3 and March 26.
