Ft. Belvoir PWOC Fall Retreat

Come away with your Fort Belvoir PWOC and Chapel sisters to retreat at Sandy Cove’s Ministries Christian Conference Center in Maryland. Nestled in God’s divine design, you will be blessed as you embark on a special journey.

Our speaker, Valarie Caldwell will help us take a fresh look at Living and Reflecting Christ! Our Praise and Worship Leader, Jihanna Davis will prepare our hearts for the message God has just for you!

Fall Retreat purpose is to facilitate a spiritual environment for the women currently attending Ft. Belvoir PWOC and Ft. Belvoir Chapels to grow closer to God and to one another.

FAQs

How do I register?

Registration is closed but you may register to be on a waitlist. You will be contacted if we have cancellations. You may register here l. You may give your donation of $40 at PWOC on Thursday morning at the Belvoir Chapel at 9:30. Please write donation checks to FBCTOF and note "PWOC retreat" in the memo section. Scholarships are available.

What activities/meals are included?

Please go to the Sandy Cove website to see the activities available. http://www.sandycove.org/. PWOC activities will include hiking, book club, craft & tea and evening bonfire (bring blankets but chairs not needed). You will receive a tentative agenda in an e-mail from the retreat coordinator prior to the event. Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast meals are included. Sunday lunch is not provided. Please contact us if you will be arriving late or leaving early.

What accomodations are available?

Rooms accomodate 3-4 ladies. Please request room mates when registering. Also, note any dietary reqeusts on the form and any special room requests (handicap). We will do our best to accomodate all special requests. Do not fill out the dietary form on the Sandy Cove website. PWOC will make those arrangements for you.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Please indicate on the registration form if you are willing to carpool ladies to the retreat or if you need a ride. You will be contacted to make these arrangements by Jennifer (programs@pwocfortbelvoir.org). Plenty of free parking is available onsite.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

You will receive a list of items to bring in an e-mail from the retreat coordinator prior to the event. You may bring individually wrapped snacks to share or keep in your room. All snacks must be individually packaged!

Can I update my registration information?

Please contact Stephanie at programs@pwocfortbelvoir.org if you need to make changes to your registration. Registration closes at midnight Nov 6.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No. Please contact Stephanie (programs@pwocfortbelvoir.org) if you are not able to attend the retreat as soon as you make this decision. There will be a wait list of ladies wanting to attend.
