The 13th Judicial District Attorney's Office invites you to attend our
4th Annual Drugs, Gangs, and Prosecution Conference
in Belen, New Mexico.
August 21-22, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Express Conference Center
Our conference will offer presentations by: U.S. Attorney's Office, DEA, FBI, Albuquerque Police Department, NM Attorney General's Office, NM Department of Corrections, Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department, 2nd Judicial District Attorney's Office, 13th Judicial District Attorney's Office, and 12th Judicial District Attorney's Office. We will also host a "Community Forum" at the tail end of the conference that will feature a speaker with a personal gang story of her own.
This conference will also include a working lunch where we will have a special guest speaker presenting on the topic of "Collaboration in Investigations."
Topics will include: Spice and Heroin, Cartels, Street Gangs, Legal Update, Social Media, etc...
We will also have a "live computer lab" on-site to train attendees on the use of GangNET.
- 28 CFR training is mandatory in order to access GangNET
As you know, there is NO charge for the conference, however, we will accept any donations that would be suitable to give to the Valencia County Domestic Violence Shelter. Please consider donating items such as diapers, baby supplies, childrens clothing, etc...
We will have several door prizes to give out. Vendors will be on-site.
This conference is NMDPS accredited: NM14191R. NM Bar Accreditation has been requested.
