This workshop series will train scientists and engineers to become more effective and confident writers. The series will include a combination of lectures, individual exercises, and group exercises. The workshops will focus on the general principles of effective writing within the context of writing journal articles and grant proposals.

Part 1 - Reviewing Fundamentals, will focus on cutting unnecessary clutter, avoiding common grammatical errors using active voice, and crafting clear sentences and paragraphs.
