Crook County Health Department is partnering with Allyship in Action to provide a presentation on supporting LGBTQ+ communities June 7th, 2021 from 11 am - 1 pm. Participants will be provided a framework to understand the experiences of LGBTQ+ people in Crook County and the barriers they face. Participants will engage in a deeper dive into the terminology used in the LGBTQ+ community and will be encouraged to explore their own biases as well as build their knowledge and understanding. Participants will learn strategies for engaging LGBTQ+ communities with respect and creating a more inclusive Crook County.
This presentation will be conducted via Zoom and closed captioning will be provided to provide greater access and participation.
