Will the event be recorded?

This is a LIVE virtual event only; no recording will be shared with attendees and recording or sharing of the event is strictly prohibited. Anyone discovered to have shared or recorded proprietary material may be prevented from registering for Penguin Random House events in the future.

Question 2

Where is Vimeo available?

Accepted Answer

Vimeo is not accessible in China (excluding Hong Kong), North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Indonesia, Sudan, & Syria. If you live in these areas and register for the event, you will be refunded, excluding the Eventbrite fee. You will not receive a book nor will you be sent a link to join the event.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

There will be no refunds for this event if you are unable to attend live. Refunds will only be given if your order is canceled (see below for reasons your ticket could be canceled), though Eventbrite’s fee is nonrefundable in all circumstances. Please see Eventbrite's terms for more information.

Why would my order be canceled?

Accepted Answer

Orders will be canceled and refunded if you do not select the right ticket for your shipping location. Because Vimeo does not work in China, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Indonesia, Sudan, and Syria, anyone in these areas who registers for the event will also have orders canceled and refunded.

Question 5

Will I be able to participate during the event?

Accepted Answer

Ticket holders will be viewing a live conversation; however, there will be no live audience participation. Chat will be disabled and any question pre-submitted and chosen to be asked live will be read by the moderator.

Question 6

When can I expect my book to arrive?

Accepted Answer

Books will begin to ship after the event date of March 4. We will make every effort to ship all books from our warehouses within two weeks after the event, but please know it could be as long as four weeks. If you have still not received your book after that, please email events@waterstones.com.
