Southfield–LTU Softball Field Groundbreaking

The City of Southfield, in partnership with Lawrence Technological University (LTU), is proud to announce the groundbreaking for significant upgrades to the Southfield softball field.

Join us on Friday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the softball field located on Southfield’s Municipal Campus as we celebrate the start of this exciting project. The enhancements will provide new opportunities for recreation, community engagement, and LTU athletics, strengthening the connection between the university and the City of Southfield.

The renovated field will also become the future home of LTU Blue Devil’s Women’s Softball Team, marking an exciting milestone for LTU athletics and Southfield’s sports community.

This groundbreaking will be held in conjunction with LTU in Southfield Day, highlighting the strong collaboration between the City and LTU.
