Drinks and snacks served, mixing, music and shark video looping as boat heads out to Golden Gate Bridge and outside the Bay seeking wildlife. Silent auction runs.

Support ocean health and international shark protection with local heroes Shark Stewards aboard the luxury vessel Empress. Celebrate Sharktober with hors douvres, beer and wine included and no host bar.

Enjoy meeting shark experts and marine biologists while steaming out to the Golden gate to view the wildlife of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay's famous landmarks. View and bid on original ocean art by silent auction and meet the artists, supporting our international efforts to protect sharks and marine life.

Is this tax-deductible?

As a non -profit project of The Earth Island Institute, donations are deductible to the extent allowed by the US Tax code.

Where does the money go

Proceeds will benefit Shark Stewards policy program working to create protected swim ways for migratory sharks and zero retention of endangered species.

Is this a shark cruise?

This is a benefit party on the San Francisco Bay. White sharks have been observed, but whales are more likely. However, we are also leading a trip to the Farallon islands October 14 (and other fall weekends).
