Description

The Maryland Institute College of Art
Master Guild

The Maryland Institute College of Art and its Alumni Association established the Master Guild to honor and celebrate those who graduated fifty or more years ago from the College. We hope you will join us for a day of remembrances and updates from the school, culminating in an incredible evening at ArtWalk, MICA’s commencement exhibition and Baltimore’s largest display of visual art.

This year we welcome alumni of the Class of 1964, Class of 1965, Class of 1966, and Class of 1967 into the Master Guild.

Schedule

The morning’s activities will be held in Leake Hall. Parking will be available onsite, and shuttle service will be provided throughout the day.

  • 10:00 a.m. - Check in and continental breakfast

  • 11:15 a.m. - Welcome and address, Sammy Hoi, President

  • Noon - Crabcake luncheon, welcome from the Alumni Cornerstone Society and the Alumni Leadership Council, and remembrances from classmates

  • 3:15 p.m. - Class photos on the Main Building steps (shuttle will be provided)

  • 4:00 p.m. - VIP admission to ArtWalk, MICA’s Commencement Exhibition. VIP admission includes early admission to ArtWalk, two beverage tickets, a celebratory champagne toast, a MICA tote bag, and a 10% discount on the purchase of one piece of art work.

Alumni are welcome to purchase an additional ticket for the day’s events for a spouse, significant other, or guest. If your guest would prefer to attend only the evening ArtWalk event, please select this ticket option. We will be providing complimentary daytime shuttle service for guests between MICA’s campus and the Inner Harbor by request.
