This teen workshop will provide a platform for participants to develop a common understanding of race, racism and white privilege as it relates to their everyday world, and as it is connected to the global community through interactive exercises Emphasis will be on community building and action steps.

Join us for a day of transformative conversation, team building and problem solving!

Is there a cost associated with the event?

The event is free - be we request donations in any amount of your choosing. At the end of the event a charity will be chosen by attendees and all proceeds will be donated to that particular charity.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is open to all students regardless of school affiliation in grades 8-12. ID is not necessary.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We are located at 900 University Bay Drive, a couple of blocks north of (up a hill from) University Avenue, across the street from the back of the Veterans Hospital and across from the entrance to The American Family Children's Hospital. We can be reached by walking, bicycle, bus, or automobile. Visitor Parking is available in our main lot. Ample parking is also available in nearby streets.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring writing utensils and notebooks if desired.

Will lunch be served?

Yes. Lunch will be a catered taco bar from Chipotle and a potato bar. Please contact event organizer with specific allergy concerns or restrictions.
