Description
Deep in the Colorado Backcountry
Never has a Fjällräven Classic trek been so mountainous. Hiking 10,000ft+ (3000m+) peaks in the iconic Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
New Territory Same Traditions
Taking the Classic legacy to a new continent, this high-altitude Classic is like no other. The 34.29 miles/ 55.18 km follows the Colorado Trail through National Forest, with epic views from 12,000 ft/ 3700m above sea level. Along the trail you will get to know hundreds of fellow trekkers, meet Leave No Trace ambassadors who will educate you on the stewardship principles of the outdoors.
Fjällräven will take care of the logistics – you will receive a Fjällräven Classic t-shirt, 20oz.Grayl purifier bottle that makes clean, purified drinking water from any fresh water source, freeze dried meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, checkpoints to refuel and support your needs and a few little treats along the way. You’ll carry everything you need on your back and move at a pace that suits you, making your way to the designated camp-sites.
There will be transportation for you from the Boulder Fjällräven Store on Wednesday morning 6/28/17 and lodging packages at Copper Mountain Resort for your stay Tuesday night 6/27/17 and Friday night 6/30/17.
