The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), in collaboration with the New York State Department of Health (DOH), is promoting the standardization and certification of course work/training which enhances the knowledge and skills of individuals performing the SBIRT protocol in both general and behavioral healthcare settings.
Many payers reimburse for SBIRT service provided by physicians (or an SBIRT OASAS-certified health professional under the supervision of a physician).
Meeting 7:30am - 12:00pm
