These womyn inspire their peers and serve as outstanding leaders and role models. This event will honor and unite womyn to positively change and thrive in their world by inspiring and supporting other womyn. Join in this one of a kind celebration to focus on the women who inspire us to take action, to fight for causes we believe in, and who make a difference each and every day just by being authentic to who they are. #dynamicwomynuci

These awards honors the contributions of womyn at UC Irvine. Recipients are recognized for a variety of achievements in the nominee’s field, significant contributions to UCI, commitment to students, commitment to women’s issues, community involvement, and professional recognition. Self-nominations and nominations from UCI staff, students and faculty are welcomed.

Outstanding Social Justice Activist Award – 1 Student, 1 Staff/Faculty

This Award honors two student and one staff member that have demonstrated a commitment to working in anti-sexist endeavors and who have drawn connections between various communities to end multiple forms of oppression including but not limited to ableism, heterosexism, racism, classism, xenophobia, and ageism.

Academic Achievement Award – 1 Student, 1 Staff/Faculty

This award honors two student and one faculty member who have demonstrated a commitment to creating a space to advance womyn in academia.

Spotlight Award -- 1 Student, 1 Staff/Faculty

This award honors one student and one staff who have demonstrated a significant contribution to the UCI community and whose role on campus often may go unnoticed. This individual demonstrates the importance and role of womyn on campus.

Dynamic Women of the Year -- 1 Student, 1 Staff/Faculty

This award honors one student, one faculty member and one staff member who have demonstrated a commitment to the personal growth and success of women, through education, research, or public or volunteer service above and beyond their expected job responsibilities.

Ally Award – 1 Student, 1 Staff/Faculty

This award honors one student and one staff that has shown a commitment to being an ally to womyn.
