Atlanta Black Chambers Hosts: a film fundraiser for Patrick James Thomas

Come join us at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs for a special event supporting Patrick James Thomas. We'll be hosting a film fundraiser to help raise funds for his cause. It's going to be a night filled with entertainment, community, and support. The goal is to help Patrick James Thomas raise 12K to share stories that matter. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference and have a great time doing it! See you there!

NAPHTALI: A couple struggles to deal with the loss of their boys to child protective services, but in order to get them back they must face what got their kids taken away in the first place.

CUT MY HAIR BARBER: Kwame Alexander, a young boy, dreams of having a dad. He receives an assignment to present an essay on his family tree. Kwame takes the assignment home and questions his mother about his deceased father. Kwame’s mother avoids answering the question by insisting on talking about it at another time. Determined to learn more, Kwame uncovers new information about his father and believes his dreams are now reality. This discovery sends Kwame on a journey that will change his life forever.

APPLE CORE: Papa, a once renowned artist, is now a lonely, grumpy widower who has given up on life and art since his wife's death. On Papa's wedding anniversary, Pamela, his daughter asks him to watch his granddaughter, Kela, while she works. When Kela paints to pass the time, she rekindles the desire in him to paint again. But to resume his art, Papa must first overcome the tremendous guilt that haunts him.
