Join Dr. Denisa Chatman-Riley, Accessibility Champion for the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, and eLearning to learn more about accessibility and quality assurance in this two-part workshop event.

Those interested may register for either or both workshops.

Accessibility Workshop Objectives:

  • Recognize the importance of creating accessible materials for student success​
  • Experience 3 types of disabilities​
  • Identify how to make accessible instructional materials​
  • Discover campus accessibility resources​

Quality Assurance Workshop Objectives:

  • Recognize the importance of Universal Design for Learning and inclusivity​
  • Identify and implement active learning strategies​
  • Determine factors affecting course quality​
  • Discover best practices for quality online course design, like Quality Matters (QM)​
  • Locate Quality Assurance resources​
