User Experience: It’s Not Just About Visual Design

When people consider user experience, they can get caught up in the visual aspects, which are only a piece of the puzzle. This 2-hour workshop will help you understand the other parts that play into the experience of a digital environment, like how to improve labeling and information structures to ensure users can find what they want and need. You'll walk away with tools to improve user experience without ever touching an Adobe product or CSS.

No prior knowledge of information architecture or UX necessary.

Sam Raddatz is the founder of Logic Department, LLC, an Information Architecture consultancy that specializes in user-based information architecture for non-profits and cultural institutions. With a background in project management, qualitative sociology and holding a Master’s degree in Information and Library Science, Sam tackles any challenge in the most organized and transparent way possible.
