It's time to dust off the winter cobwebs and fire up your your motorcycle for Classic Harley-Davidson's 5th annual, premier motorcycle skills competition in the northeast. Carvin' Up Classic is your first opportunity to hone your skills and compete against others in preparation for the upcoming riding season. Showcase your riding skills through challenging patterns in several divisions from "Novice" to "Expert " ($85/ticket). Active duty "Motor Officers" on unit motorcycles compete for FREE.
***No price for spectators to attend.
This competition is limited to 50 contestants (including Police and Civilian riders). Having 50 participants will allow additional practice time and less waiting to get into a riding pattern. Categories include Police Expert, Civilian Expert, and Civilian Novice.
Civilian Novice riders will practice in their patterns first, followed by Police and Civilian Expert riders. The Civilian Experts will compete on the Police courses.
Competition participants are treated to a number of top notch, entertaining activities "outside the cones" with mixers, food, drink, and other things to do.
Classic Harley's service technicians will be on hand to keep your bike ready for the competition at all times.
On DAY 3 things get serious! That's when the action hits the blacktop and you'll see how your skills match up to the other competitors! You'll bob, weave, and try not to touch one cone as you maneuver through each course for time with music by the DJ.
1st - 3rd places prizes will be issued to each of the Civilian Novice, Civilian Expert, and Police categories in the following competitions: - Overall Top Rider in the Skill/Speed Course. - Slow Ride. - Challenge Course. - 2-Man Ride. - Individual Slow Ride.
-> Space is limited and the 50 spots go quickly, so make sure to sign up for this first riding opportunity of the year now. Competitors will also recieve a T-shirt, swag bag, and some meals. Some space will be available for RV parking on Classic Harley-Davidsons lot. Rooms will be available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Reading Airport.
Proceeds will benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association.
