AT&T Developer Program

<H2>Do you like to design and make things? Are you inspired by the power of technology to affect positive change and do good?<BR></H2>
<P><SPAN>If so, we want to see you in action. AT&T and Girls Who Code are opening our doors for you to innovate. We’re looking for creative thinkers like you to join us at this special social good and IoT focused Women in Tech Hackathon, open to all developers (<STRONG>both women and men</STRONG>) and with additional prizes for Girls Who Code students and alumnae. All skill levels are welcome! We need a wide variety skills and perspectives to create positive change.</SPAN></P>
<P>At AT&T, we have adopted a progressive approach to innovation – one that embraces openness and encourages collaboration between entrepreneurs and professionals of all genders and backgrounds. We believe that young women provide a critical spark to the tech industry that can accelerate innovation and economic growth.</P>
<P>This hackathon will provide you with opportunities to design and build innovative websites/apps for non-profit charity organizations. You will be working with a team which is a great way to meet other girls who are passionate about technology too.</P>
<P>AT&T careers experts will be on hand throughout the day to talk about awesome job openings in different areas of our businesses.</P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Hang out with us at the Garage Under Tech Square as we hack and build innovative solutions, eat snacks, compete for prizes and most importantly: meet new people who share your love of technology. We will have experts from AT&T and the local community onsite to assist with your development.</P>
<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">You Bring...</H2>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Your laptop, skills & ideas. Come with a collaborative, team-focused mindset and/or team-up in advance on Twitter/Facebook/Google+ with #atthack. Whether you are a developer, designer, project manager, or just interested in tech, you are invited to attend this event. Every group needs a good balance of talent and your skills are needed!</P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Quick presentations and code samples that help kick start your hacking, food to keep you going, and caffeine to keep you awake. We will have technical mentors to assist you in building faster, smarter, and with new tools. We will also have loaner hardware on-site for you to use in your solutions including:<BR></P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">In order to hit the ground running and get the best of the event here are some suggestions for things to do in advance of the event:<BR></P>

<LI>Look for team members, you'll be able to form teams onsite, but having a preformed team helps you get a jump start. Keep in mind you can always add additional members onsite as well.</LI>

<LI>9AM - The fun continues with breakfast served in the morning! Work with the teams from Day 1 to complete your website. Mentors will be available throughout the entire day to help you code your solution. Team registrations will be accepted throughout the day with a deadline of 2PM.</LI>
<LI>12PM - Deadline for team registration, keep coding!</LI>
<LI>12:30PM - Lunch is served</LI>
<LI>2PM - CODE FREEZE. Pitches start promptly at 2PM and are limited to three (3) minutes per team. PowerPoint presentations are NOT recommended!</LI>
