GirlCode Hackathon

GirlCode is a registered NPO (158-642) aimed at empowering girls through technology. We believe that the more women get involved with technology, design, development and leadership, the more successful and diverse companies and their products will be in the future.

On the occasion of Women's Month, we are calling all women programmers to indulge in the 3rd annual GirlCode hackathon, which is basically 30 hours of non-stop programming. The hackathon is open to all females, who will work collaboratively to create a website, game, or mobile app that addresses a selected real world challenge. No prior programming experience is required and registration is free. ​ You can participate in teams of minimum 3 and maximum 6.
So come out, ideate and build cool products and be the catalyst that brings more women to the technology industry.
Winning Team walks away with R10,000 CASH!!!
