The Iowa Renaissance Festival celebrates 32 YEARS of family fun in 2024! Come experience three weekends of live entertainment featuring comedy, swordplay, music, magic, and even horseback jousting. Explore a marketplace full of unique merchandise from around the land. Enjoy tasty treats and drinks in the royal food court (including adult libations like honey mead). The village awaits your visit!

Can I bring in my own food & drink?

We allow water bottles, but we ask that you leave any other food & drink outside the gates. You can get a gate pass if you want to leave & come back.

Can I bring my dog?

IF you absolutely need to bring your dogs, ok. Please clean up any droppings & dispose in baggies that you bring. We have had problems with aggressive dogs, & we reserve the right to escort you & your dog from the realm if any aggression is seen.

Do you have scooters or wheelchairs for rent?

No. Please bring what you need

Can I come in costume?

Yes, as long as it is family/child friendly

Are tickets sold at the gate or only online?

Tickets may be purchased at the gate all day every day. However, online tickets get their own line that may move faster than the purchase line. We accept cash or card at the gate
