The OTB program is a series of progressive skills drills that help coaches teach and improve riders' abilities in navigating trails safely. OTB101 is needed to become a Level 2 Coach.
You must be registered as a coach in PitZone, with NICA membership fee paid and NICA participant waiver signed. The cost of the course is $15, which covers the Field Guide you will receive upon successful completion of the course. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion to upload into PitZone.
Location: Lakeway Swim Center, 3103 Lakeway Blvd, Lakeway TX 78734; field between Canyonlands Trial Head on Trophy Drive. Latitude, longitude: 30.35045, -97.99590 Exact "pin drop" location will be provided in confirmation email.
Bring all your riding gear and bike. We will be standing for much of the session so wear something comfortable. Bring flat pedals and comfortable shoes if you have that option.
The skills instruction will be approximately 3 hours, with a snack break. Bring water and a snack.
The class will be led by Texas League Coach Supporter, Jeffrey Linn with assistant Mike Girard.
