Description

Future Shorts is a fun evening where we get together with friends old and new who enjoy films, make films and sometimes have a few glasses of Jameson's or a Steam Whistle or two and get all excited talking about films. This is the third time we've put this on in Toronto, but it's really part of a bigger picture.

Since 2011 the festival has spanned over 300 cities in 90 countries, reaching an audience of more than 45,000 people. Internationally acclaimed short films have been screened in countless ways, from London to Tokyo, Cairo to Kabul, in music halls and town halls, theatres and galleries, in clubs, bars and warehouses.

The evening will start with some cocktails, we'll sit down and watch the internationally acclaimed films (this is a bit more than an hour) and then we can socialize. Inspiration for your next creative project may arrive at any time through an unusual convesation or new connection...or you'll just have a blast taking part in a global phenomenon on a Thursday night. Join us!
