About Pua Aquino:
I am a mother of two boys, ages 10 and 12. I was born and raised in Mākaha and currently reside in Māʻili. I graduated from Hawaiʻi Baptist Academy and then later from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I started working in early childhood education while attending college and have been working in the field for the past 21 years. For the past 16 years, I have been working for Partners in Development Foundation, starting off as a teacher's assistant with Ka Paʻalana Homeless Education Program, and am now in the administrative department as their Hawaiian Cultural Specialist.
Partners in Development Foundation (PIDF), an IRS Section 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, was incorporated in 1997 with the goal of helping families and communities overcome difficult challenges in ways that would make them, in turn, teachers and helpers of others in need.
Admission: Free
